Yoga (Mat and Chair)

At the moment we are meeting on Zoom every Tuesday at 10am and the practice lasts one hour.

Yoga: Meets at the Community Centre on Tuesdays – once normal service is resumed. The chair yoga practice is at 10am and the standing mat yoga practice is at 11.15am. (The entire practice can be done in a chair or with a mix of standing and seated.)

Our U3A practices are slow paced and gentle to move our bodies whilst incorporating mindfulness and meditation to bring calm to our minds.

There will be a ‘per session’ charge of £3 for each activity.

a) Mat Yoga: Seasonal Mat Yoga incorporating the Qigong Body Clock Flow. It combines the 2 ancient systems of Indian Yoga and Qigong to provide us with a system of health and well-being. The Mat Yoga practice encourages gently stretching, movement and breath.

b) Chair Yoga: Seasonal Chair Yoga incorporating the Qigong Body Clock Flow. It combines the 2 ancient systems of Indian Yoga and Qigong to provide us with a system of health and well-being. The Chair Yoga practice encourages gently stretching, movement and breath.
